Stayed here for 2 nights, the hotel was luxurious and clean, had impressive views, amazing location at the top of a hill. Outstandingly accommodating staff who took our reservation, and provided a special atmosphere. They helped us get a shuttle to the town.

The restaurant was nice for dinner at hotel restaurant, we ordered amazing dishes. The location was exceptional - walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go.

Unfortunately Wi-Fi was pretty slow.

Great staff that helped us with everything, from the front desk to all the other areas. the location couldn't be better - we could walk everywhere we wanted to 👍.

The place was tidy and luxury, had very friendly and extremely helpful staff who took our reservation. The room was reasonably sized with view when upgraded. There were central heating, an electronic key card, and a flat-screen TV with cable channels provided. The vibe here was special. Shuttle into town was a great perk😀

best thing about the hotel is the spectacular views of the lake and breakfast: very varied and abundant. If you have a vehicle or if you are going on an organized trip with transportation there is no problem to get to the hotel, otherwise, if you want to go to town you depend on a taxi.

Perhaps they should acclimatize the rooms better to the arrivals of the passengers: in our room there was an electric stove in the middle of the room that little paints in a hotel that is supposed to have modern facilities and perfectly acclimatized to cold weather. It is necessary to put a sign on the step that separates the pool in 2 to avoid accidents. It would not be superfluous to clean the windows of the rooms more frequently to be able to enjoy the views better. Updating the decoration of the living room with a couple of touches of personality and updating the bedspreads in the rooms would give them an impressive tour of the hotel.

The location here is serene, perfect as it's right next to the lagoon, on the edge of town, and also close to the city center.

The room was beautifully designed and reasonably large, with a nice view to the ground and a jacuzzi. The pool was good, and there was parking available onsite. A shuttle to the town was also provided if needed.

Breakfast was savoury, we truly enjoyed the location of the place.

Rooms with seaview had a special atmosphere. The location right on the lake was stunning.

The hotel far exceeded our expectations! The best thing is the view of the lake, excellent treatment from all the staff, reception, waiters and waitresses. The heated swimming pool is excellent for relaxing while flying on excursions. Very well heated. Great breakfast! The room is very comfortable, the bathroom is spacious and has a hydro massage. Very good service of the restaurant, we had dinner one night, the dishes were delicious and very well served. There is a very good climate in general throughout the hotel.

The only criticism: the transfer service to the centre. They had two departures at 9:00 and 18:00 and returns at 12:00 and 23:15. Very infrequent and difficult to use. They should have a more agile service, they are taxis for 4 people, therefore they could be more available for the clients. The hotel is far from the center and each round trip by taxi or remis adds up to $400

The hotel was luxurious with very friendly staff, from receptionists to other team members. The place had a special atmosphere that added to the overall experience. The breakfast was savory and had a great selection of options. The location was stunning, with mountain ranges in the distance and easy access to shops and restaurants right in the heart of El Calafate.

Thank you very much for a very nice stay for one night. The units are huge and neat. The location is marvelous and amazing, just 2 miles from Lago Argentino. A wide range of facilities in the room includes central heating, a safe, and multi-channel television.

The Design Suites is a hotel with an avant-garde architectural design, with large glass panels that allow great views of the lake, in that sense is like being on the edge of nature, bright, warm, fantastic. The rooms are very comfortable, true suites with a minimum of 25-30 m2 is all very spacious, underfloor heating in the bathroom, everything you need, has it, . The breakfast is first class, and a great help considering that in El Calafate the fruit is a luxury and everything is very expensive. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

The hotel has 3 problems : . Location: This FAR from the center the transfer service of the hotel is not such with only 2 frequencies at 9 and 23 hs almost impossible to use; you depend on a taxi of $ 170 each stretch but considering that 99% of the travelers spend it doing excursions and go 2-3 days is not the end of the world, you can handle the situation. Maintenance: It is 12 years old and already shows the passage of time in floors, pool, broken glass, elevators, etc. All that beautiful view is with very dirty glass that detracts from the desired effect. The pool is BEAUTIFUL with direct connection to nature but it is a DANGER, incredibly the access stairs (lined with super slippery venecitas) has no railing, the stairs can not be used to leave or enter because a huge column (see photo) does not allow ... and sooner or later one day I fell by luck I did not break, but I gave myself a blow, be careful!

Without a doubt the value of this hotel is mainly in the panoramic view over Lago Argentino! The construction is a modern mixture of wood, stone and glass that is integrated into the landscape in a very organic way. It is located on the outskirts of the town, ideal to move around by car (anyway, there is a free transfer to the center twice a day). It is a dream for those who enjoy the tranquility and appreciate the views. . It has a spa and a heated swimming pool, and a bar with good drinks. The breakfast is spectacular, very varied and well served. We also had dinner and used the food service and everything was excellent. The view from the fully glazed dining room towards the lake with a fireplace enhances the whole experience. . The beds are very comfortable, the bathroom is spacious and impeccable with a hydro massage that looks at the lake is unbelievable! The staff is attentive but not expert, but resolves everything with agility. We will be back, no doubt.

We had trouble understanding the heating and first night we were cold. we arrived the wifi was weak but they restarted it right away and it worked very well the rest of the stay. The beds could be bigger and suite we were in was missing an armchair.

I really enjoyed this stunningly beautiful accommodation with nice staff at the reception desk. the setting was exceptional, right by Lago Argentino and El Calafate's center and city center.
